Nine People Murdered By Suicide Attack In Borno State

At least 9 people were killed today by a suicide bombing in Maiduguri, the Borno
State capital, according to a local resident and Emergency Management Agency
official.
The suicide attack occurred near the Muna garage area of Maiduguri. Baba Kura, a
resident of Muna garage, told a SaharaReporters correspondent that at least nine people
feared dead in the attack.
''We heard loud explosions in our area and we quickly went to the scene and we
found nine people dead and a vehicle seriously damaged,'' he said.
A State Emergency Management Agency official told SaharaReporters on the condition
of anonymity that 6 people were recovered from the scene along Dikwa road.
